James Jackson

James Jackson was Executive Office Director and General Counsel at Medair, an international humanitarian organization, until 2022.  Medair is a humanitarian organisation providing aid and emergency relief to more 3 million people in need in the world’s most vulnerable places, including Afghanistan, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, DR Congo, Madagascar, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Yemen and, most recently, Ukraine.  

He continues to support Medair as a volunteer and as a board member on Medair’s US, French and Kenyan affiliates. Before joining Medair in 2010, Jim had more than 25 years of international legal, governance, compliance and management experience gained in the government, legal private practice, and corporate sectors. He brings a solid values-based approach to the ICF board for a cause that touches so many.
